Logitech Signature M650 review: A wireless desktop mouse
I use a mouse all day. I usually have a straight ergonomic mouse, but I changed it in a week to get used to the Logitech Signature M650. There’s a lot to like about this $39 wireless mouse. But… it’s one of them the best wireless mice?
The Signature M650 is on the lower end of Logitech’s range of mouse options, but it doesn’t have the gaming performance or multi-device connectivity you’d see in more expensive products. The M650 is great for students, home offices, and casual workers, but it may not be comfortable enough for people who use the mouse 40 hours a week, or who have hand or wrist problems.
Unlike other mice I’ve seen, you can customize the M650. In addition to extensive customization settings using the Logi Options + tool, there are left-handed, large size and color options. Logitech Signature M650 review: The ups
The Logitech Signature M650 is a great mouse if you’re looking for a simple, versatile mouse that comes in both left- and right-handed modes, looks great in the home office, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. in need.

At just $39, this is a great affordable option if you don’t want to spend $100. Although it is not one of the cheapest wireless mice on the market – Logitech has M170 for $12, with a USB-A dongle, and the M240 Silence for $19 – still a steal at under $50.
Many types
Unlike other mice I’ve seen, eg Logitech MX Master 3S ($99) and such Logitech Ergo M575 ($39), the M650 comes in left-handed, right-handed and full-size models. If you’re left-handed, this is a good breath. As a left-handed person, I always find it difficult to find wireless mice that come in left-handed versions. The main difference between the right and left style are the buttons that are available on the inside of the mouse; correctly, they are on the left side, and on the left, they are on the right (who would have thought?)
If you’re feeling fancy, you can get this pink mouse. Most of the production mice I’ve seen (I’m looking at you, MX Master 3S and Razer Pro Press Mini) only come in black or white, so I like the variety.
Appearance
Despite its sub-$50 price tag and light weight, the Signature M650 feels well-made and solid. The dotted grip on both sides of the mouse is firm but not sticky, and the grooves fit your hand perfectly. The internal push buttons are fixed and easily accessible with your thumb. The battery is located in a slide-out panel on the bottom of the mouse, which is where the USB-A dongle resides. This is a well-designed, well-designed mouse with a lot of thought put into performance.
Bluetooth and USB-A dongle
The Signature M650 comes with two wireless options. Both are easy to use: it’s as easy as going into your computer’s settings to enable Bluetooth or plugging a USB into your computer. While testing this mouse, I configured the top side button to launch Mission Control, and the bottom button to copy text. These prints worked amazingly well and made my workday so much easier.

Despite these good things, the Signature M650 is not without flaws. If you use a mouse for 40 hours a week at work, you may want to get something more ergonomic.
Prolonged discomfort
Since it is not an ergonomic mouse, the M650 can become uncomfortable after several hours of continuous use. In the office I usually use an ergonomic standing mouse, the CSL Vertical Mouse (£19 – not available in the US), which I love. Although it’s unfair to compare a non-ergonomic mouse to an ergonomic mouse, the M650 is still pulling on my trapezius and forearm after about five hours. This is fine for occasional office use, but if you use the mouse for 40 hours a week, or gaming, I recommend investing in an ergonomic mouse. Save your shoulder pain. Logitech has other ergo options, such as the MX Vertical ($100) or the Logitech Upgrade ($69).

If you’re after an easy-to-use mouse with a wide range of customization options, the Signature M650 is a great choice for casual office use. The grippy sides and knobby shape fits your hand well and is a well made product. However, if you use the mouse 40 hours a week doing intensive mouse-related tasks, you may need to get an ergonomic mouse to save shoulder muscles.
